INTERIOR DESIGNER

Passive Solar & Barrier Free Residence

CLIENT:

CONCEPT:

CHALLENGE:

Alessandra and Riker Reynolds

To design a home that incorporates passive solar elements, barrier free living, and sustainable materials that correlates with the client's purchased lot in Monte Argentario, Italy (using the metric system)

To create a home that is in harmony with the natural features and resources that surround the site. The use of rectilinear lines will combine the
impressive Roman architecture with the contemporary style of modern day. Using the charm of nature to inspire the color palette, an ambiance of
tranquility will be felt, and the display of nature will be apparent both in it’s sustainability in addition to it’s appearance. With the use of natural
finishes, the home will become an extension of it’s surroundings, and will allow the Reynolds family to enjoy nature inside and out in an enjoyable,
comfortable, and relaxing home.
