INTERIOR DESIGNER

Masonic Hall

CLIENT:

CONCEPT:

CHALLENGE:

T.L. & Teri McRae

To redesign a historical Masonic Hall to accommodate an Interior Design showroom, studio, and residence while adding to and incorporating their existing antique furniture collection.

To create a home that flows visually and functionally, and a business that is well organized and practical. Strong horizontal and vertical line are used to separate spaces and provide a feeling of cleanliness, organization, and strength. Light enhances and adds a dramatic ambience, while differing textures adds to this impression. Although these elements create a stimulating space, the use of symmetry provides balance in the space. The warm color palette provides unity, harmony, and rhythm throughout the space.
